Philip Lambert
Philip trained as a surveyor, he worked at Ordnance
Survey, Southampton until 1939. Surveyor in the Royal Engineers for
the duration of World War II, in the Middle East.
After the war Philip attended the Southern College of Art and obtained a Double National Diploma (NDD) in Illustration and Painting. He won a travelling scholarship to study in the Paris ateliers (1951).
He has worked as a Art teacher, picture restorer and valuer.
Philip Lambert is most famous for his Hampshire Landscape paintings.
